What is Nordic FeedNordic Feed is a specialized event and communications agency that publicises news about New Nordic Food for an international audience. The agency was founded in January 2011 after a meeting of a small group of foodies. We wondered why the new phenomenon "New Nordic Food" was relatively unknown outside the Nordic countries. The idea of forming an agency to address this unfortunate lack of information about what we experienced as a food revolution was born. Albeit being a new company, the founders had a lot of experience. So big plans were conceived from day one. The signature event rapidly became Nordic Feed Food Conference 2012. But soon we were overwhelmed with support and good wishes from chefs, cooks, growers, journalists, bloggers, foodies and others. It was of course very inspiring that so many others saw the same need and opportunity. Then the Nordic Region took all the top awards at the Bocuse d'Or, followed by Copenhagen-based Noma being awarded "best restaurant of the world" for the second year running. We therefore decided to jump ahead, and let 2011 be the first year for our annual conference - in spite of obvious time limits, funding problems etc. Fortunately, the Nordic Feed Food Conference has attracted so rapid and overwhelming support that we are now able to invite food writers and bloggers from all over the world to what has already become a world class programme. And still developing. Who is Nordic FeedThe key persons of Nordic Feed Torsten Arendrup has a large network among many of the most important chefs, food writers and opinion formers of the Nordic region. Torsten has many years of experience in distribution, sales, and marketing, and today he works with networked communications.
ServicesThe agency offers a range of services that support organizations, enterprises and farmers to ensure maximum benefit for producers, investors, local community and consumers. In doing so, we are ensuring a steady feed of news and stories covering Nordic Food products and people to international food writers and bloggers. |
