The Nordic Genetic Resource Center is a Nordic organization dedicated to the safeguarding and sustainable use of plants, farm animals and forests. 12.00 Carlsberg's renowned chef Marco Sganzerla presents lunch, designed to be served with a special beer menu, presented by Morten Ibsen.
13.30 Mikael Jidenholm talks about local Swedish vegetables and herbs. Mikael is the owner of Ugglarps Grönt, a producer of new, innovative and wild vegetables and herbs in Halland (southern Sweden). Amongst the customers are Noma and other wellknown restaurants.
14.00 Arne Astrup, M.D., Dr. Med.Sci. : presentation of the OPUS project, the world’s largest research project on how to combat child obesity and learning difficulties through dietary intervention. Based on the New Nordic Diet and the Diogenes findings.
